Ride a cableway through a rainforest and walk on scenic boardwalks
Ride the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway over a lush rainforest. Use both the cableway and the scenic railway to explore the location comprehensively. Start your visit from Cairns or Kuranda Village. At the Red Peak stop, access the Ranger Guided Boardwalk Tour and the informative Rainforest Discovery Zone. At Barron Falls, view the scenery from The Edge Lookout and visit the Rainforest Interpretation Centre along with its Historical Precinct. Walk around and see the offerings of Kuranda Village. The Kuranda Scenic Railway provides commentary during the journey and stops at Barron Falls for photos. A transfer bus connects visitors from Freshwater Railway Station back to the initial departure area.
