**Following recent development with the restoration and refurbishment project of the Phoenicia, the owners of the hotel have decided to postpone the opening of the hotel to January 2nd 2017 (date subject to change). The Phoenicia is located just 50 meters from the entrance to Valletta and the new parliament building both designed by world renowned architect Renzo Piano.
