Parador de Carmona

Just 30 minutes from Seville, the Parador de Carmona crowns the town from the ruins of a 14th-century Moorish castle, reborn as a hotel in 1976. Designed in the style of an Andalusi palace, it features Mudejar-inspired architecture, an elegant interior patio, and historic spaces such as the Salón Bermejo and the former refectory, now a stunning restaurant. The terrace and seasonal swimming pool offer sweeping views of the Corbones Valley and Carmona’s ancient rooftops. Inside, the Parador preserves its regal heritage with arched stone hallways, antique furnishings, and original design elements from the palace of Pedro I of Castile. The spacious rooms are decorated with classic Andalusian charm, and guests enjoy modern comforts like free Wi-Fi, Chromecast, room service, and a tranquil garden. With its unique blend of history and hospitality, the Parador offers a memorable stay in one of Spain’s most photogenic towns. Carmona itself is rich in heritage, from the Puerta de Sevilla and Roman Necropolis to the Santa Clara Convent and vibrant San Fernando Square. Guests can explore archaeological sites, hike scenic trails, or visit nearby Seville to see landmarks like the Giralda, the Alcázar, and the Triana district. For a deeper taste of local life, try regional pastries like torta inglesa or explore olive oil estates just minutes away.
