Hotel Magdalena

The design of the 89 room hotel pays homage to the local lake house ethos of the early 1970s situated amongst rolling grounds and natural beauty inspired by Texas. The Hotel Magdalena is also home to a restaurant poolside bar and several other spaces for hosting events and hanging out. Situated on Music Lane in the South Congress neighborhood amidst Austin most vibrant culture and history. Hotel Magdalena overlooks downtown and the Capitol from steps away. Hotel Magdalena features four new but distinct buildings connected by exposed elevated walkways and courtyards creating a treehouse feel inside the grounds. The property sits at varying elevations an homage to the slopes of Barton Springs and the lush grounds are planted with native Texas species including Bigtooth Maples Redbuds Meyer Lemon Trees Yaupon Holly and Little Gem Magnolia. While our doors are open we have amended some of our procedures. Contactless check in and check out is offered to all guests. Housekeeping service will be limited for the health and well being of our guests and employees. We offer fresh towels and amenities upon request. We are monitoring the situation daily as it continues to evolve. The city of Austin requires facial coverings in all public places. We encourage all of our guests to take advantage of social distancing during this time.
