Tucked away on the edge of a vast forest in Central India lies a space few have seen. Deep emerald waters - verdant Sal trees and massive rocks form the landscape where the tigers roam. Baiga tribals walk these lands and the Gonds sing of the majesty of the Bada Dev or the Great God. On the edge of the tiger heartland of the world - cocooned in Sal Forest where the river flows gently by and shy deer peer through incredible eyelashes standing poised for flight - lies the first Hidden India camp - Mahavan. Named after the great forests of Central India - the setting for the fabled Jungle Book - Mahavan is a hideaway that offers an experience like no other. Hidden India Mahavan is conceptualized as a Carbon Negative Project. The idea is to showcase years of acquired knowledge and to share with a select few a life lived our way. A life that nurtures wilderness - conserves local communities and cultures and protects wildlife. We practice sustainability that allows tourism to exist in harmony with the ecosystem and simultaneously ensures luxurious immersions into specially curated experiences.
