YESS, a Japanese restaurant by Chef Junya Yamasaki, focuses on only the best seasonal Californian ingredients and treats them with a reverence inspired by traditional Japanese cuisine. The food menu is supported by a highly curated selection of small production, Natural Wines, Sake, Shochu, Seasonal Cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks. YESS has a fully open kitchen featuring a Japanese wood-fired stove and charcoal grill; surrounded by a long cypress counter and a spacious, comfortable dining room. The restaurant is housed in a landmark 1920's former bank building in the heart of Los Angeles' Arts District.
