Visit vineyards and participate in grape stomping
Visit the Utiel wine region, located less than an hour from Valencia. Known for its long wine-making history dating back to the 7th century BC, the area is part of the Utiel-Requena Denomination of Origin and produces a wide range of wines. During the tour, you’ll stop in villages where wine is made and explore the vineyards to learn about the wine-making process. In August and September, you can taste grapes straight from the vine, and in October, you’ll have the chance to join in on grape treading. The tour includes two main winery visits. The first stop is at Murviedro Historic Winery in Requena, which includes a wine tasting. The second visit is to Vera de Estenas Winery in Utiel, where you’ll also take part in a wine-tasting session.
