Toronto Zoo: Entry Ticket

Connecting people, animals and conservation science to fight extinction

Spanning over 700 acres of the Rouge Valley, the Toronto Zoo stands as Canada’s premier zoological institution, offering year-round experiences that connect visitors with the natural world. Guests are invited to observe and study a diverse population of over 3,000 animals, walking through distinct bioclimatic regions that replicate habitats from the African Savanna to the Arctic Tundra. In the indoor pavilions and elevated boardwalks, visitors can gain an understanding of the Zoo’s integration of conservation science and Indigenous traditional knowledge, both of which are vital to their mission of combating species extinction on a global scale.
