Sydney Opera House: Rusalka Opera

Hear haunting melodies and see a magical set

See a water nymph who gives up everything to chase a human soul in Dvořák's opera, *Rusalka*. The story, inspired by Slavic folklore, follows Rusalka's journey between two worlds. Nicole Car, an internationally known soprano, performs as Rusalka on the Australian stage. The opera includes the well-known 'Song to the Moon' among its many melodies. Sarah Giles directs this new version of the tale, with costumes by Renée Mulder and set design by Charles Davis. The cast includes Gerard Schneider, Warwick Fyfe, Ashlyn Tymms, and Natalie Aroyan.
