Sagano Romantic Train: One-Way Ticket

Take a ride on the Sagano Romantic Train. This Art Deco-style train, with its distinctive red, yellow, and black design, runs a 7.3 km route from Saga Torokko Station, next to JR Saga-Arashiyama Station, to Kameoka Torokko Station. The journey takes about 25 minutes and follows the Hozugawa River. The train operates on the former San'in Main Line, now closed due to upgrades on the JR San'in Main Line. As you travel, you can use a multilingual audio guide. Download the free app on your smartphone, which syncs with the train’s location.
