Ride a historic train and dangle your legs out of open carriages
Ride aboard Puffing Billy, a preserved steam railway located in Melbourne's Dandenong Ranges. Originating in the early 1900s, this historical train has restored interiors and open-sided carriages. Passengers can see a temperate rainforest from the carriage during the journey from Belgrave to Gembrook. The train navigates through Sherbrooke Forest and crosses a timber trestle bridge before reaching Gembrook, known for its local shops and cafes.
