See a historic shrine and a dramatic waterfall
Leave Tokyo on a guided trip to Nikko, a location rich in historical sites and natural features of Japan. Start from Ginza and travel to Shinkyo Bridge, a red bridge signifying the entrance to Nikko's historic area. Next, reach Toshogu Shrine, known for its intricate designs and cultural significance to the Tokugawa shogunate. If tickets are included, entrance to this shrine is provided. Then, head to Kegon Falls, a tall waterfall cutting through rocky terrain. Complete the trip by visiting the calm waters of Lake Chuzenji before returning to Tokyo. During the winter months, Rinnoji Temple and Futarasan Shrine replace Kegon Falls and Lake Chuzenji due to weather conditions.
