New Orleans: Small Airboat Ride

Take a family-friendly airboat tour through the bayous near Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve. Navigate the moss-covered cypress swamp that was once home to the 19th-century pirate and smuggler, Jean Lafitte. Listen to engaging commentary from a local guide while spotting wildlife like alligators, turtles, snakes, egrets, herons, and ibis along the forested shoreline. Choose between driving yourself or opting for hotel pickup. Note that hotel pickups start 75 minutes before the tour, but ridesharing and taxis do not serve this area. Tours are available in the morning and afternoon. The small-group tour is limited to ten people, making for an intimate experience.
