Los Glaciares National Park: Guided Glaciers Boat Tour from El Calafate

Navigate a lake and view large ice formations

Travel from El Calafate to Punta Bandera Port, which serves as the gateway to the glaciers of Patagonia. Board the catamaran to traverse the northern branch of Argentino Lake, passing icebergs on the way to the Upsala Glacier. Observe the large ice formations floating in the water. Continue through the Spegazzini Channel for views of Seco, Heim, and Spegazzini Glaciers and their icy surroundings. Witness possible occurrences such as the falling of ice pieces into the lake. Stop at a location and take a 300-m walk along a well-maintained path to an observation point. See the glacier from the shore before returning to the vessel for the return trip.
