Guided visit to the Talayotic settlement of Torre d'en Galmés

Let yourself be seduced by the Talayotic culture with this guided tour

From its hilltop location, the Talayotic settlement of Torre d'en Galmés - occupied from 2000 BC until the medieval Christian conquest of 128 - would have had control of all its surrounding territory. Step back in time in Menorca with this guided tour and see what has been preserved of this Iron Age civilization. During your visit you'll see three talayots, numerous circular houses, a water collection system, several burial caves and a taula enclosure, where a small bronze statuette representing the Egyptian God Imhotep was discovered. Visit The Torre d'en Galmés Interpretation Center for multimedia displays that help to interpret the remains and understand the uniqueness of this spectacular archaeological site.
