Depart from the city and head to the western part of the Great Ocean Road to begin the journey, travelling through several country towns along the highway. Arrive at Loch Ard Gorge surrounded by limestone cliffs early in the morning. You can take a walk and explore the local attractions, including the Island Archway, the Razorback, and the Dumpling Pots. Learn about Australia’s most famous shipwreck. Continue to Port Campbell National Park, home to the Twelve Apostles. Enjoy the views in the soft morning light, without any crowds. Get free time to take in the scenery, walk along the boardwalks, and capture photos. Arrive at the Great Ocean Road Wildlife Park for an optional visit (at your own expense), for close encounters with Australia’s native wildlife. There will also be a stop here for lunch (at your own expense).
